  1. Brown the butter in a pan until it turns golden brown with nutty sediment at the bottom.

  2. Pour the brown butter into a glass bowl and let it cool completely.

  3. Unwrap and chop the dark chocolate bar into small pieces.

  4. Once the brown butter is cool, add brown sugar to the bowl and whisk until well combined.

  5. Add egg yolks and vanilla extract to the mixture and whisk until smooth and creamy.

  6. Sift in flour and oats into the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.

  7. Fold in the chopped dark chocolate and chocolate chips into the cookie dough.
